if anyone is interested in the headlight covers then this is the deal he can do :
5 x $55 + $30 = $305
10 x $55 + $50 = $600
so if we can order 5 then its only $305 for them all to my house - then i would need to post them internal in the UK

if you purchase seperatly you are looking at about £40 each
on those prices ( if avoiding customs ) you are looking at about £24 each
so if i can ship internally for less than £16 - a group buy looks better
if you check the prices he can ship 5 or 10 for the same price as 1 - so not a bad deal really :D

stick me down for one, i will also have a front splitter if they do a deal on postage.
i asked about the front splitter - he thinks there could be a problem shipping them and getting them here in one peice
but then thats the risk i suppose ???
i think the best way would to be start small and then work up to the splitter
to be honest i just dont want to be landed with a group buy that goes wrong
anyone want to take the reins on this one ?? - im also worried about the duty side of stuff - i dont want to say it will be this price and be wrong after being stung on duty - or on the other hand paying for 5 and then no-one wants them

I don\'t mind doing the order and getting the postage sorted out over here, but need to be sure we have 5 definites for the light covers. It will have to wait until September for me, as the wifes teeth need to be paid for and it looks like I am paying the balance unless she sells her Rover in time :(
I would also be happy to try and do a deal on postage for the splitters - I would think the postage on this would be much cheaper if 2 or 3 of us are getting them - we can save money on postage by driving them around and dropping off at one or more of the frequent car meets - e.g. bluewater / Dartford or the regular monthly northen pub meet.
I was going to go with a body kit for the Rex, but the more I look at that splitter and the car in general - the more I think I will just get my rust sorted and leave it looking mostly standard.

I have one and they are super sexy (will be fitted to my FC soon :))

From what Stu said somewhere between about £24 and £40 depending on whether we get hit for duty on it, and probably on the lower end of that.
If your interested that\'s 4 and probably enough to go forward with an order for 5.

So that\'s 5 takers for the lights then, and 2 definites for the front lips - will make inquiries tonight and see what options he comes back with. :yes

Latest feedback on the combined postage and insurance would be $512.00
So if the light covers are 5 x $55 and the lips are 2 x $249
I roughly work this out to be $498 + $275 + $512 = $1285
So assuming no custom charges this makes the items (including postage)
Light covers £25
Front Lips £195.50
This will be a single shipment to me, and then I can organise postage or pickup in the UK for the items. If there is any duty to be paid, then I will factor it onto the prices pro rata, so that the cost is spread out.
If you are all ok with that I will make the order in the first week in September.

No not really - but still cheaper than the tiny bit of plastic that Mazda sold as a front air splitter - and they don\'t seem to exist when you try and source one - depends where you go and who you talk to.
These babies look like they will do the job nicely! :cool
Now just have to save a grand for a paint job and spend a few weekends tidying up the engine bay.

As for the splitter, I would seriously check out SHINE auto in America, I got most of my bodykit bits shipped really cheap with them - definately cheaper than that.

Not yet - they should have been posted Monday, so are probably in transit or stuck in the UK transit areas - this seems to be where things are normally held up when buying from abroad.
They are coming expedited international - which usually transits in a week - so I should get them by the early part of next week.
I am going to Japfest finale at the pod on the 8th October - so I can bring items to there to save on uk postage

Well, I\'ve been off Friday and Monday, as I worked the weekend before, and just checked the mailbox at work - seems I have a \'large\' box from PSI Australia. I am guessing that may mean no duty to pay, but will see when I pick it up tomorrow at work.
