Post by: saxon on August 18, 2006, 11:17:26 AM

Is it turning over, but not starting? Or not doing anything?

it doesnt do anything at all, ignition comes on like normal, stereo and things illuminate but it doesnt turn over. Then after a few turns of the key it does turn over and always starts first time.

maybe a sticking starter or dodgy starter solenoid. When you turn the key do you get a clicking noise from starter solenoid??

I had a similar problem when I got the car except nothing would happen at all sometimes and other times it was fine. Turned out to be as simple as a loose battery connection
