Title: KMH to MPH conversion?
Post by: Martin on November 13, 2003, 12:13:22 AM
I should be able to collect my car next week(92 3rd Gen), but the speedo hasn\'t been changed.. anyone know a place in the Midlands where they can convert it? I don\'t just mean the speedo face!

Is it the cable type or the chip type? the bloke I rang who sells the convertors was asking me about it, and I weren\'t sure:(

Thanks
Martin

Martin,

perform a search on this forum. You will find many information about speedos an where to change the speedface etc....

3rd-Gen is has a chip-type speedo.

You\'ll need a chip mate.

I had the same problem as i am from nottingham.  The only decent place i could find that would supply, fit and change the odmeter was charlsworths, which are at donington race track.  They are\'nt to far from you.

cheers

Thanks guys! much appreciated! I wanted to get the baby home ASAP from the importers but have now decided to wait another week or so for them to do the conversions etc...  altogether I had to wait about 5mths for it! but then again I did get it from a private seller in Japan... NEVER AGAIN! :reallymad

Sounds like fun Si!:wave
