Title: FD3S and FC3S turbo manifolds the difference

Hello all

I was talking to my mate tonight and he has a FC3S and off course i have a FD3S

See i thought they was the same engine just different setups but he thinks they are different as he wants to run a PFC from a FD3S as the PFC for a FC£S meant to be rare?

so my first question is the bolt pattern for the exhaust manifolds, are they the same and for the inlet?

and another thing that puzzles me why is it turbo kits for FD3S is T4 and the FC3S is T3 shouldnt they be the same? as i assume they flow the same?

anyhow just a few questions lol

the engines only have slight differences,  the lower inlet manifold wont swap but the turbo manifold will.  I use a HKS turbo manifold from an FD (T4) and also a PFC from an FD to run my TII

did you use a full FD3S wiring loom or u splice it in?

The Turbo kit on an Fc won\'t fit and Fd becouse the way the Waste gate comes off the Manifold (does\'nt clear the Engine mount) but i belive an Fd Kit will fit a FC.

They don\'t make a PFC for a t2. You can buy an Adapter to Plug a PCF into the T2 stock harness, but if you take it to some where like ReWorx they could fit one for you.

also does it mean the upper FD inlet manifol fits the lower FC inlet manifold?

Its not a direct fit, you have to mess about a bit to get it fitting. Do a search there is a thread about it.
