Hello all
On the FD3S\'s when you De-cat your left with two tubes im assuming they come from the airpump
What do you do with these? do u just leave them hanging of block them off? or what?
thank you in advance

One is the air pump - just plug it. Apparently, it helps with emissions testing come MOT day - there is another connection to the air pump in the exhaust manifold.
The other is the CAT temperature sensor - you need to retain this! I took the driver\'s seat out, pulled back the carpet and then pulled the sensor through the hole in the floor and plugged the hole again. Just left it there under the carpet. If you disconnect it (or break it), you\'ll get the exhaust temp light on the dash, which is annoying...
Cheers, Paul.
want to hear something funny
ive jsst jacket up the car to see if mine been left hanging etc and where that sensor is and my De-Cat pipe has the same fittings as the standard CAT
i.e its got the sensor in there and the a/p line attached and even has the brackets to put the standard heatshield on there
Ive never seen a De-Cat pipe like that for a RX7 it normally a straight tube
also because there is no internals anymore is it possible exhaust fumes getting push back up that A/P line making my idle run high as I dont have the A/P running just waiting on the blancking plates
thannk you in advance

I guess you could try unplugging it and see if you still have a high idle?
Cheers, Paul.
yep tried that today didnt realy make much of a difference but i also changed the Lambda and that did
