You can buy a RE: Amemiya AD9 bonnet from Newera for not much more and it\'ll be better quality.

The Scoot copy I thought retailed at £750 according to a couple of the performance mags like J-Tuner and Jap Performance. I paid £850 for the RE: not £1,200, so if you\'re sourcing from the UK then that\'s some mark-up they\'re charging.

I thought about the Scoot copy myself, but ended up buying the RE: since they build stuff for the Rex specifically so should be a better fit, the extra nose vent doesn\'t really offer anything over and above the bonnet vents which are similar imo (but then I have a headlamp vent to provide extra airflow so slightly biased here)

The front vent will provide much better airflow for my Greddy Triple core SMIC

The bonnets ive found are about £400 sourced from the UK

the scoot is £2200 !

Aye, there was no way I was going to pay the price for a real Scoot bonnet. Doesn\'t warrant the price imo, you could almost buy a single turbo kit for that !

I have a scoot style seibon bonnet on order which I should (hopefully) be getting next week, if your not in a rush i\'ll let you know how the fitment of it is when I get it. Where abouts did you get a quote of £400 for it cause that is very cheap, I paid £600 for mine and that was quite a bit cheaper than any of the other prices I saw.
