Well, as it says really. Mine\'s not too bad but I want to find a much more suitable home for my commander. Think I know what I want to do with the boost guage.
So anyway, post similar pictures of your dash and I will see the light! :wiggle

Not to keen on posting pics of my car yet.. but heres a during and after on my dash. It\'s due to another rework as I don\'t like some bits of it.

SInce this pic I have tinted my main cluster removed the white faces, removed the orange tint fomr the dials and they are now white backlit.
Added a commander to the side of the 4 gauge custom pod.
I also have a 12 ich PC monitor which is in a FD bezel which will sit on the passenger side, cant wait to get it in and take some pics.

Managed to dig out a couple of my older posts showing the guages I have. I keep the Commander tucked out of sight as I don\'t use it day to day. The Defi Link Control is also tucked out of sight for the same reason.

[/B]I have toyed with the idea of the Re-A steering wheel guage pod, still not ruled it out yet but think I can get mine somewhere and hopefully make it look pretty factory, will be a lot of work but only need to do it once! :Giggle
Just still not sure what to do with the commander though. I could get it blended in nicely with the dash but I dont want to loose any vents or attack the standard dash too much :3Confused which leaves not much options, typical me :King

It was flocked by Thomas and Vines Ltd who do the dashboards for prodrive (aparrently) and they did a smart job...

I\'ve replaced all the gauges with Autometer Cobalt ones which have blue led back lighting. I\'ve removed the bulb "caps" from the rheostat and flip up headlight switches which makes them white - (looks better than orange)
Then for the heater dials i changed the bulbs to blue leds and made some of my own dial faces which were clear...
they look cack and a bit cheap so I\'ve made my own black ones with clear "icons" so they will light up blue.

I also have a bit of a recess where you have those holes - I think the previous owner must have had a car phone in it, come on, it was late 90\'s :o

The holes may have come from an RE Redom ECU, which aparantly came with a switch for boost settings, which was often stuck to the dash. My car had the stock ECU re-attached for export however.
I\'ve seen the metal type holders on the RX7.com forum. I think they come out of the dash next to the glove box, but it looks a bit untidy IMO. If you find anything to cover those holes give me a hola, and i\'ll do likewise :).

but trying to get him to reply to my emails and make the RHD 60mm versions has proven imposible

If anyone has seen the latest Jap Performance, there is a silver and pink rx-7 in there. They removed the ashtray and made a perfect hole for the commander and a boost controller - looks good. Although the practicality of having it there is a different story!

I got it from RE:Worx - it wasn\'t drilled out as far as I know, I am not sure on who makes it. RE:Worx will know.

Ricco_04 - Just a quick update on this matey. I\'ve bought and fitted an R Magic commander holder. Wasn\'t the cheapest, but looks great and covers almost all of my holes (small one at the bottom still visible, but I can live with that!).

CraigN. I just ordered the tripower one from rx7.com. It\'s for 52mm\'s but thats the only one available as it seems. I will try to cut it out for 60mm\'s and show how it goes. Smart thing would be to not buy one and try before Im done.. as it\'s not the cheapest plastic part ive seen. :P

you could always put w*nker light on, they could have a switch..maybe not a performance increase though
