Title: Turbo Setups
Post by: Devil\'s Refugee on August 08, 2006, 02:21:07 PM
Seems to be a few separate threads but nothing really pulling it all together on this. So, here goes:

What are the pros and cons of running the following types of setups ? ie revs, lag, top end, torque, mid-range, bottom end, best driving scenario suited. Not ‘interested’ in peripheral mods which would be required such as fuelling, injectors, IC, mapping etc, this is purely turbo chatter.

Stock twin sequential
Stock twin non-sequential
Hybrid twin sequential
Hybrid twin non-sequential
Big Single

My typical driving would be fast road and very occasional track but want to retain a modicum of drivability and civility in the car for in town…..LOL, ‘civility’……:Tongue1

Ta in advance, and would be nice to make it a sticky

I think the best setup for fast road is a medium sized single. T04Z being the ultimate imho.

I run a T04S and it\'s feckin awesome, spools nearly as quick as the twins and kicks there arse on power !!
