Title: What Filter/Reducer Hose?
Post by: nikp on August 07, 2006, 09:37:52 AM
I\'m almost in the position to start my car. So i thought i better organise my air filter for the turbo.

I measured the diameter of the turbo inlet, to which it is 102mm. My question is, what is the filter i should be using with this, and what size reducer silicone hose?

The best reducer i can find, is 102mm down to 76mm - my current air filter has an internal diameter of 83mm, so potential a bit big. (Turbo is a Garrett GT35R if anyone has one of these!)

http://www.rotaryart.uk.com/acatalog/Universal_filters.html
may even find one with right diamentions and no need for reducer
