Yes, It was I...

How cool is that!  I didn\'t spot you but it was me all right.

We are located quite close to one another (I\'m in Chessington).

Oh and yes it\'s low, lowered suspension and smaller tyres. It\'s a total pain around speed bumps though :driving

Take care,

Kerry

You had it long ?

I\'ve had Mazzy II about 10 months. Prior to that I had a red Gen I but the poor old girl was worn out and ended up at the RX-Motors home for the terminally ill. Despite that, I was totally sold on the Rotary Engine concept and RX-Motors sorted me out with this particularly nice Gen II.

I use Mazzy II for daily transport so any changes are done at a slow pace as and when I can fit them in.  I have to say that this beautiful car has given me the most automotive fun ever.

Good for you - I also use mine as a daily - does 40 miles a day on average. I must say that once I got the initial teething problems caused by poor or lack of maintenance by the previous owner(s), the car has been quite solid and reliable.

Know what you mean about the mods - bit by bit - but it\'s worth it in the end I keep telling myself.:driving :Giggle

No doubt see you at one of the many events going on - I\'ll keep a look out - and welcome to the forum - guessing by your post count that you\'ve not been on long ;)

When I first got mine from RX-Motors, it had been laid up for a while. They did a great job of returning it to service and I had a few minor failures of components that didn\'t find the long sleep agreeable, all of which were replaced without any drama.
Since those early failures, I had a fan belt fail dramatically, totally shredded, and a couple of small stuff like a lightbulbs.
The most niggling thing is the wipers only work on one speed, but I\'m working on that one. Hmm, I wonder if that\'s an MOT failure, just having one speed?

I am in the process of sorting the rusty sunroof. Again, RX-Motors were stars and found me a good one to start with (just a cople of small bubbles) so the work I have to do is minimal.

I am really interested in attending an event if I can find one locally. At the moment I am working in Dorset and I only get home for weekends, so I would like to find an event local to my home in Chessington.

Thanks for the welcome - much appreciated.:Thumbsup!

I know Claygate, I was driving through there on a regular basis when we had roadworks on the Leatherhead road.  I am up near the Harrow (used to be a Harvester) on the road between Hook and Malden Rushett.

I am only about Friday afternoon to Sunday as I work away at the moment.

I\'d be up for a pint of :guinness sometime.

Cheers

I am guessing they only work on standard speed - if so, then that will pass MOT - as they only have to be shown working on a constant wipe.

I had that problem and it passed MOT with just one wipe speed available.

I also find sometimes that one accessory line from the ingition switch barrel will not go live, which kills the wipers and electric roof motors - quick waggle of the key and all is well. :Hammer :rollin

There is a Reading static meet every 3rd Tuesday of the month - not sure if that\'s too far from you - next one should be the 15th August. - It\'s on the A33 - 2 roundabouts towards Reading from J11 of M4 - starts around 7.00-7.30 ish. All Jap cars.

I kind of imagined that I would be okay as long as the wipers worked "without the frills".  I may try and get to the Reading Meet some time. I would have to drive from Dorset if it\'s mid-week as that\'s where I live mid-week.

Yes, that\'s the one. When the roadworks were causing long queues a few months back, I was coming home via M25, A3 and turning towards Esher at the roundabout, right towards Claygate and then through all of the traffic calming carry on into Chessington.

Normally I turn right at the roundabout and head towards Malden Rushett or I continue down to the Leatherhead turn on the M25 and come in that way.

Oh, I saw a Blue Gen III (FD) heading out of Chessington towards Leatherhead today at about 3:15 ish.  I really like that shape but they are out of my price range at the moment.

Hey I think I saw you today.
Leatherhead Road heading towards Hook. I was stood outside the Off Licence on the roundabout before the Hook parade of shops. The car looks great!
