I was in abit of hurry yesterday and was coming upto a roundabout, one of those mini roundabouts that you can drive straight over. I dropped from 3rd to second and was only doing about 20mph at entry, turned the wheel hard to my right, gave it abit more throttle and the back end went!! Luckily I caught it with opposite lock otherwise I would have gone head first into on coming traffic! The road was bone dry but I don\'t think having Jap tyres on the car helps. The only good thing was the look on peoples faces, something like :2eek and :Grrr
Get them tyres changed mate... before you need to change the whole car!
Jap tyres = Danger and crash
I had them on mine for 6 months before i changed them and it was the best thing i have ever bought for the car.
yes changing the Jap tyres to UK spec tyres transforms your car, the best mod you can do
Yep a few hundred quid for new tyres is a lot less than smashing up your pride and joy. Eagle F1\'s and Toyo T1-R\'s all seen to work well on the RX7 so get some ASAP!
Or if your on a tite budget like I was, go for a set of nexans..... very good for what you pay out!!
Jono
Have you tried //www.mytyres.co.uk ?
I always get mine from there, Toyo T1S\'s (before they changed to T1R\'s) nice prices, speedy delivery too. Kwik Fit, etc can usually be persuaded to fit them for a \'cash price\' when management isn\'t around.. *nudge nudge* ;)
We offer 3 tyre options... Maxxis (budget) , Federal ( Middle of the road) then the Toyos.. depends how much you ware wanting to spend.. and the sort of performance you want really.
We also offer MRC discount on Tyres so your welcome to drop me a pm for a price
Thanks
Gordon
Bridgies, Firestones, or Falkens, as they are cheap.
yup, always found falkans good and very resonably priced
