You\'re darn right there! Mods declared (Dunno how that system works!) and pretty reasonable indeed - cheaper by over £100 than this years insurance!

Nice find Jono!

Its still a lot better than most quotes i\'ve had so far.

Most have told me they wont insure me til 21.  Saying that I think it still makes sense to wait.

This is my first post on here since i bought the FD this time last year, been meaning to but never got round to it... Anyway I\'ve just done a search on there, and got a great quote, £ 588.00 fully comp with a few little mods, and declaring a claim for my other car being stolen. Seeing as the one i got at the mo is about to expire i thought i\'d go for it. Only one little problem... you try buying their quote!? Jumps up to over £ 850! Anyone else had this problem?? I think i\'ll stick with elephant...

just on the phone to them now... they don\'t list the FD as a manual online.. Auto only..

Nope.. they won\'t insure me as my car is a manual.

Quotethey don\'t list the FD as a manual online.. Auto only..

I didn\'t recall that being the case - so i just retrieved my details. Definately says manual for mine - i retrieved the details for mine based on my number plate. Retrieved everything correctly (Even says 2.6)

Here\'s tip, but i don\'t know if it\'ll work for everyone, but worked for me.

At first i selected \'Fully Comp\' and got a cheapest quote of £509. Then i thought, how much cheaper would TPFT be? Soi i entered that - i got the cheapest through at £405 - but it said that it was fully comp as TPFT is not available!?! WTF!? Who cares! Saves over £100!! So, try and enter in TPFT when you get your quote.

Just had a quick mess with this Autotrader link. Seams quite good. What are the \'bonus\' keys though ie I drive a another car on a regular basis. Put my mum or missis as a name driver (neither of which dare sit in the drivers seat). Limit the mileage.

Are there any others I should know about?
Tried saying it is garaged but it doesn\'t seam to effect it so knocked it off for them cold raining nights I can\'t be arsed to put it away.
