Just got myself a lovely Red \'92 RX7 Type R
Bought it private off an Aussie and have been enjoying myself (carefully) for the last month. I can only compare it to a plane on the runway just about to take off. Magic.
It\'s had a recent rebuild with a streetport and 3mm seals, got straight through exhausts, no cat and a PFC & Commander.
Booked in for an oil change at WGT so not driving much until that\'s done.
Will be going to some meets next year so hope to see you there!

They are great cars had mine a year and a half now. You want to watch out in the wet they are evil. I used mine last year in the snow it was great fun had it sideways at about 5mph couldnt go any faster as it would keep on going across the road anyway hope to see you at the shows.

It was a guy called Roger Higgins, he was Kimmi Raikonen\'s (sp?) race engineer. He was moving back to Australia which is why he was selling the car.

Congratulations on your move, I am originally from Brighouse myself.
I have recently had an oil change done by WGT as the car has had a rebuild and other bits done by them for the previous owner. Seemed OK so will be going there to get the full service done in spring.

Im am from the Denby Dale area of Huddersfield but now live a bit closer to Barnsley. Great roads round here to test these cars....

I always wanted a RX and when i saw this one i thought "i\'ve got to have that!!".
Bought mine from Ebony & Ivory Imports in Scunny, has been a bit of a nightmare but after fiddling around under the bonnet and talking to a few of the guys on the US forums, i have now got it sorted (we are talking 140mph at the warning buzzer in 4th gear!).
If you give it some serious thought and want some advice when looking at one, let us know....
