OK guys what makes for a great handling FD, that can be used on the road without completely ruining your spine??
Current thinking is Tein RA or RE\'s- is the only difference that the RE\'s have a great height adjustment??
With racing beat anti roll bars front and rear. Thought i saw an strong support bar for the front anti roll bar- is tis worth it??
What about bushes- i plan of replacing the full set, but is it worth looking at something like the FEED solid kits??
And lastly, what about toe rods, etc?? Who makes stuff for the RX?
Cheers Rich
I use Ohlins suspension, yes its expensive but I found every Tein setup I tried was just too hard for road use and quite frankly I believe a car needs a bit of suspension movement to handle well.
I am glad I opted to not fit the FEED solid bushes as they would have caused my fillings to fall out. Great for serious track enthusiast - not for a street car. Solid engine and diff mounts are as far as I would go.
Regarding suspension components, I\'ve seen FEED and Petit (US) stuff. I\'m sure there are more.
Since you\'ve already got some thicker ARB\'s You\'d be able to get a away with a lower spring rate which won\'t be as hard plus if you have a click adjustable set of coilovers you can adjust the damping rate for a smoother ride when on the road.
I thought most folks thought that the Tein Flex suspension was good for the road and track. Is anyone using Tein Flex with stiffer ARB\'s though to reduce roll?

I have exactly that setup; Tein Flex and FEED ARB\'s. My use is for fast road only though. Car feels planted (although I\'m not a ragged edge driver) but I also have a cabin brace and reasonably low ride height which all factor in.
Rich have you looked at tein superstreets ? got them on mine way better than original bilstein boneshakers and adjustable - got off clive at shyautos
Can\'t find any dealers for the ohlins shocks:confused: google just threw up aload of motorbike kit....Would imagen these fall outside my price range though!
Chris, out of interest how much did the FEED ARB\'s set you back? As I have got mine yet.
I know of a few cars that have the Racingbeat ARB\'s and they have had some really good feedback(Warthog springs to mind) and don\'t break the bank on cost.
Most important thing I\'m after is a great handling FD on track, as it will be used for this and as a \'weekend warrior\', not commuting, so the comfort is a secondary factor...just want it to stil be useable on the road:)
Cheers Rich

I got mine from http://www.neweraparts.com, they don\'t have them listed but mine were £475 for the pair.
Have a chat with Miguel at Newera, I have never been in a roadgoing car with that handling. I am STUNNED at the least, and will get His setup as soon as I have my car in my hands.
Regards, Daniel

You can get the racing beat ones in the UK and the money isnt silly either ;) a lot less than the feed ones I think. Rotechnics sell them.

I have tein fles with arc anti roll bars, and rear chassis stiffening ARC bars, excellent handling on track, somewhere i have pics of my car and a stock car coming round the hairpin at knockhill, the difference is quite something!

i think that the settings of your suspension will make much more of a difference actually.
I got mine set up last thursday and now i cant believe the difference! it handles amazin!
i used the angles in that sticky thread in suspension section the street set up is very good - it made my car much more comfy and easier to drive.
