do new bubble keep coming up while engine is running or does it stay the same?

Have you recently refilled the coolant system ?? Maybe you have an airlock. You could try and flush the system with a hose and run some fresh water through the system.

Hope it isn\'t rebuild time !

Done that mate a few times now.

Hopefully this vid might be better. The temp gauge was over half way when filmed.

this is a 12a,  they are lot more simple than an FD,  you dont really get air locks, the set up is so simple, the rad is upright, there is no cooling or heating of the throttle body or turbo and no AST.

I cant watch the vid, i am work,  but you really need to try it when the car is completely cold as they may be boiling bubbles as opposed to gasses from the engine.

Have you checked you exhaust...if there is water or excess vapour coming out.if not I would guess your theromstat or water pump is playing up or blocked passages............:Typing  Diff to speculate on this one without being there....:Talking1

unfortunately age does as much damage to a rotary as mileage, even though its really low mileage, those seals are 20 years old or more.
