So im lookin for a swirl pot!! Whats the best 1 to go for? Demon Tweeks have a few of them Spec R or da like but which 1 wud suit best like best fit etc...

Mailed Re Worx too but they havent givin me a date when they\'ll have them and i need it badly for a time attack at the end of the month!

Cheers

What pump did you fit.... was it an in tank?
If you put in a swirl pot you will still need to put in an in line pump.
The reworx one bolts up in place of the original charcoal canister.

an o44 only has probs on or below 1/4 tank so that pump must be bloody masdsive or there is another issue. would make sure the pump is up to the job. i personaly throw any walbro pump in the bin and fit a known pump this is just an example check what pumps other people use!

Funnily enough, I have the same pump and fuel surge.
Straight lines, no problem. Right hand corners, no problem. Left hand corners :(

Chris - if you reckon a 044 will cure this, I\'m coming in next Friday sooooo.. :)

yep... put a proper pump in, no need for a swirl pot. Just more connections and more possibilities for something to leak outside of the fuel tank. Alternatively (I know your in a rush, but...) get a tank made that has a pot in it to replace the stock one. Probably cost less than messing about with multiple pumps and loads of wiring.

The pump is fairly high spec and a good few big BHP GTR\'s are runnin this pump with no problem... Plus it had a standard GTR pump in it before and i never had the problem with hard driving and the power it was producing...

Here you go this lets you see how big an 044 is compared to a stock pump:eek .

BTW I wouldn\'t use a Walbro as a door stop as they fail far too often for my liking, never known an 044 fail :)

the 044 out flows the stock fd swirl chamber hence the 1/4 tank issues:( the bnr I have seen 450rwhp from with no issues. This is shown by the fact that Max and H run them with no issues at the Ring and 20B boy now I think about it

I\'m running the BNR33 pump and no problems even running on fumes (although not cornering hard like that).  I tend to fill up around 1/4 tank anyway if I can.
