Title: vacuum reading at idle
Post by: vxer on July 17, 2006, 11:13:00 AM
Hi guys,

I\'ve heard you can use the vacuum reading on the PFC / boost gauge to give you a general idea of the condition of the engine.

I\'ve read that you want at least 16" of vacuum at 800rpm idle and that 18"-19" is excellent. However, what happens if you\'re not idling at 800rpm? How do you adjust the figures?

Cheers, Paul.
