Title: How easy is it to fit a rear Diffuser?
Post by: M@r]{ on July 12, 2006, 09:33:15 AM
I bought a RE-A rear diffuser, just need to fit it!  How easy or hard is it?  I suspect some form of ramp would make it a lot easier - anyone have access to a ramp who wants to give me a hand in exchange for lots of beers  :)  :WaveBye

This is all assuming it will fit with my RE-A rear spats ??

Mark the thickest part you will be drilling through is 3mm thick, which is the part of the back numberplate where the number plate goes, the sides of the back bumper and the bolt is already there underneath to hold the back of the diffuser up so you should be fine mate

Any drilling is a scary prospect for me.  Seeing as you seem to know how to do it.....  fancy giving me a hand, or just giving me on the spot instructions?

Takes about an hour or so matey, will have to drill and maybe sand down a few edges of the diffuser to make it fit. Had mine done at the local performance garage and a excellant job he did too :cheers

Only £50 as i know him quite well, took him 2hrs as first one he had installed but for those in the know just 1 hr should be enough, mine took longer as the veilside rear spats we left on and sanded the diffuser down to fit around the spats
