Ive just put the car in to have a couple of Apexi guages fitted along with a few other bits but were having a bit of trouble with the oil temp guage.
I first thought the sensor was meant to replace the sump plug but when they went to change them over they saw it was the wrong size.
Can anyone tell me whether a) ive been given the wrong sensor or b) the sensor\'s meant to be welded into the sump, as I dont fancy messing about getting the sump taken off to have it welded or chasing around for a sensor that dont exist :)

One solution is to buy a Greddy sandwich plate which goes under the oil filter. This plate has takeoff\'s for oil sensors and saves drilling and tapping holes.

Would save a lot of messing about so think i will go for that.
You could purchase the same plate from Mocal - UK (http://www.mocal.co.uk). The supply anything to do with oil, fuel and radiators.
