26x10.5x16

is 26" rolling diamter x 10.5" wide tread x 16" rim diameter. Hope that helps

I think you will struggle to fit a 10.5 under stock arches Mark, nearer 9 would be a better starting point tbh. Ask James Willday when u see him, i forget what size hoosiers he runs but I\'m pretty sure 10+ width will be an issue on stockrims without mods to anything.

don\'t forget to allow for tyre growth too, the street ET\'s don\'t grow as much as other drag tyres but M/T recommend you allow for a certain amount of growth (it\'s on their website IIRC)

i\'d be interested on how you get on there Mark, thinking of getting some myself - although i\'m starting to swing towards road legals so I can drive to and from the event with them

Well to be honest they have not really been tested as yet!

With the HKS drag set up it clears easy.... on the soft setting and hard launch, again this has not yet been tried(well at least not by me) to confirm arch clearance.......

Also the with the Mickey Thomsons, the ET STreet and ET Drag tyres are no different really, the compounds are virtually the same as so are the sizes and side wall strengths...  very little difference in the make up!
The \'Street Radial\' is the really different spec.....

I would be careful about going to tall or wide with drag tyre choice, we are currently having a nightmare with tyre rub. And it only occurs at about 130mph +, the growth in the tyre and the extra downforce are giving us bad rub. Visible by the smoke from the arches at the end of the track.

I have Tein HA coilovers, so If put them at the highest height at the rear would I be able to get away with the Mickey Ts?

These shots are on a lowered car with body kit etc.
There is almost a 2 inch spacing all around the Arches, including sitting an inch inside(offset) a non rolled arch...
There is a tight fit between stock/standard suspension(strut but with lowered springs), but with the HKS Drag coil overs... loads of space... 3+ inches! :Tongue1

Ross, what boots are you using and on what set up that it\'s rubbing?

How much does the car squat under load ??? Plus will the stock diff stand upto a drag tyre launch ????

The Squatting depends on your suspension set up, not the tire!
Stock Diff will stand up no problems, again depends on what set up you are running... drive train, suspension, power etc.......

I meant how much with coilovers does the car squat, or does it depend on the spring rate on the coilovers, surely you need it to squat to move as much weight over the back wheels to get better traction.

Im currently running about 300 at the wheels and wouldn\'t want to buy drag tyres and blow my stock diff on first launch only to find money for an uprated diff !

I\'ve currently just got the dragon diff brace so not too sure if transmission is supported enough.
