Title: Hand brake cable adjustment
Post by: vxer on June 29, 2006, 10:31:23 AM
Hi there,

My handbrake is poor to say the least, it does little to stop the car moving. I assume this is the cable which needs adjusting - anyone know how to do this?

Cheers, Paul.

Its attached to the handbrake inside the car.  Lift off the central console, 2 screws from the gaitor, and you\'ll see the cable.  Has a M6 nut (10mm).  Tighten away with a 10mm deep socket.

Cheers
Jon
