Can you give me some idea on what colour i could re-spray the car . managed to get some money together to have it done so if you can post some pics of your cars to see what the colours look like would be a great help. :Thumbs-up

what sort of colour do you want? If its big bold and bright then look in a bike magazine. If you want a normal colour then just go to a showroom and look at some colours on new cars, there are lots of nice pearls on even "normal" family cars like fords, citroens and fiats.
you could always opt for the dayglo pearl pink that Ross has done on one of the Dragon demo cars - although you have to be very confident of you sexuality to pull it off (eh Ross?)

Your car is white? so a nice white pearl will do IMHO as your engine bay and the boot will also stay in its origional colour.
tricky to come up with suggestions without knowing what sort of look you are after. Do you want a dark menacing look (if so skyline midnight purple - like Gurj\'s or a metallic/metal flake black or go really scary and a matt balck), real in-your-face (bike colours/lotus elise or VX220 colours) or traditional colours (maybe a manufacturers colour which Mazda didn\'t use - like Focus RS blue or Subaru Sonic Blue)
Umm i had thought about Peal White as my first choice then changed to Purple .... then thought it might be to dark .. then thought orange .. then back to purple ... and now i just am a loss !
So peal white with a purple ??? hows that sound ?
candy colours look bright and fresh and deep ... whats you thoughts ?

I saw a Supra a couple of months ago that was a really nice dark blue with purple flip. Now that really did look good!
i couldnt decide on what wheels i liked chunky 5-6 spoke or multi bbs style, so i thought how cool it would be to have one side one style and the other side the other.
you could do the same on paint, one side mean, sllek in a dark colour
the other side bright, stand outey.
dont know how you would blend them in in the middle, or a solid line..........................come to think about it, it would look good side on but pretty cr4p from front or rear.
Hi i choose vw candyrot red looks very red some days and then very burnt orange its a risk chooseing and I think some of it comes down to luck but as long as you are happy with the results thats all that matters(http://photo-21138)

VW did that with the Polo Harlequin! now that was definatly eye catching!
I am having the same dilemma currently, so know how you are feeling. Subtle/classy or loud/outrageous. I have purchased the House of Kolor paint chip book, and also some samples from Alsa in order to try and help me decide, but as there are so many combinations of base/colour/effect/top-coat it\'s going to end up being a bit of a leap of faith.

im liking the pearl white with Purple Hue effect ... :D
the \'only\' issue you can have if you select pearl white with another colour under it - like purple, is the white can in some light look a little off white - sort of creamy. i had mine sprayed in a 3 stage \'white\' pearl, so it looks like white but with a sparkle effect. Does sort of look slightly blue\'ish in some light.

Thats my car in the pic which is finished in Pearlescent purple which actually is really cool in the sun light, but i myself have been looking at candy colours which look brill on FD\'s, check out pic below of candy purple and a better pic of the colour on my car :D
