Title: 1st Custom Mod
Post by: Jono FD3 on June 28, 2006, 12:26:33 PM
Hi guys,
take a look at this and let me know what you think!! It\'s the first of many custom mods in the pipeline for my FD!!

Next on the list is:

1:Headlight conversion
2: unique front bumper
3: Custom undertray & rear defuser
4: Indicator side light ducts

For the people who are interested Rotary Art are going to have a few from me in a few weeks ( once I have time to knock them out ) but I don\'t know the price gary is going to be selling them at!!  Unfortunatly this is going to be the only carbon one made as it\'s taken me ages to get the finish I wanted!! So the ones that gary are going to have are standard GRP!!

any questions about them feel free to ask / critasize :2Confused This sits in place of the speaker on top of the dash!!

How much and plz don\'t tell me its an arm and leg as thats what will put people off.  If the price is right then you are talking quantities or may be a group buy as thats a kind of item every one will want...:yes

Liking those a lot buddy! Good work.

Quick question. With the rear diffuser I don\'t suppose you will be looking at universal styling that would suit both JDM and UK FD\'s? All the ones I\'ve seen seem to match up with the width of the JDM numberplate whereas the UK rear bumper has room for a standard length plate.

cheers

Rear defuser hasn\'t been thought about as yet, but I cant see a major issue at the moment!!!

Jono - those pods are looking well lush!!! I want them in carbon fibre!!! It\'s not fair!!

I\'d be first in line for a headlight conversion. Really wanna ditch my pop ups!! As Laeeq said if the price is right....

Good work tho

Sorry fella, I\'m only going to be making them as a twin pod, as it would mean making another plug & mould which would take YONKS!!!

The gauges in the pic are 52mm but you might be able to get a 60mm in, although it would be a very tight fit!! The silver bezzle in the pic is 58mm to give you an idea.

Yea, I\'m bizy trying to sorce a set of damaged puma lights to use for my headlight conversion, but they are like rocking horse sh!t!!!!

Hi Jono
Looking real good.
Looked amazing at Rotorstock when we saw the proto types.
Have added them to my site and on our news page.
Can take pre-orders so as to asure you guys first off the line, as Jono does these for us in his spare time, and have advertised these with companies we deal with abroad, so may end up with a back log.
