Title: 2 weeks of ownership!
Post by: Iain C on June 25, 2006, 09:49:08 AM
Ive had my FD for 2 weeks now and yesterday was the first time id been able to drive it properly.
I was on my own so found some empty b roads near me, all nice and dry and gave it a good blast!
I didnt expect it to be soo good on the b roads, infact i thought my coilovered clio cup might be better.
Im still getting a slight hesitation from her and im putting that down to the ht leads (i hope).
Being a uk car it doesent feel as mad as some of the jap spec 7s ive driven but im still chuffed with her.

I plan to start the modding over winter so shall i.
A: go the show queen route ,big rims and nice paint etc
B: coilovers and make it a track slagg?
Thanks a happy iain

Glad to hear you are enjoying the car!

Remember though, early (and probably later ones to) FD\'s are known for hesitations at both 3k and around 4.5-5k. Search any forum and you\'ll get numerous hits with regards both of these. Not alot you can do about them without spending the usual £££\'s. Apexi and mapping may well help though.
