Title: 1.5 way
Post by: rx jamie on June 22, 2006, 05:20:58 PM
finally got round to fitting my kaaz diff into the casing this week. i have noticed that with the casing cover off it seems really hard to turn. its a lot harder to turn than the standard diff. you can only just rotate the diff with your hands. is this normal ?

When i had my first diff built up i found it was harder to turn than stock. As long as you have set the Backlash up properly and have no oil leaks i would\'nt worrie.

basicly they are always tight if you turn the Input (you are turning quite alot of stuff) but the big diffrence is if you turn an Out put (drive shaft) this on a stock dif will turn only the other side Driveshaft (backwards) but on an after market LSD you\'ll be turning the hole unit.

I\'m also presuming you\'ve got no oil in it yet as well????
