Title: Is there a serperate bolt for this?
Post by: nikp on June 19, 2006, 10:20:46 AM
Well, as you can see, my block has been put together. I\'m very chuffed (Thanks for the help Dave!)

I just wanted to confirm what is used in the area pointed to be my arrow. I believe it is a long bolt that is used to also secure the alternator bracket on - is this correct? And, if so, does anyone have a spare one!? :) (I had to cut the original one of mine, as it had seized onto the water pump housing!)

Yes it is a special very long bolt ( longer than all the others by quite a bit)

If nobody comes forward you could allways go to your local nuts n bolts shop and buy a piece of 8mm stud bar and cut it to length or obviously get the correct one from Mazda
