For the odemeter you need to send it away to have it converted into miles, think its like 90 bucks tho, you cn only do it with digital display clocks tho :)

I sent my speedo off to a guy in chester who converted it to MPH and set the clock correctly as well :)

I\'m not home till sat but I\'ll try and dig his details out.

thank you for your feedback guys, its is extremely appreciated.

i would have started a new thread but i thought it may be a repitition of what people have said before.

could anybody provide me with any details of where i can get it done?

i really want it to read miles but i want it to be done correctly.

when this is done does it mean the car is also de\'restricted and the speedo goes up in miles?

with the speedo chip your car will clock up in miles once its fitted, so if you cars reading 23,000km and you drove 200 miles it wud read 23,200km hope this helps ya lol

that is exactly what i\'ve heard. but...

problem for me is that when i come to sell its say it read 50,000kms and i have done 20,000miles after this, how will i prove this is the case?

i may have done it at 10,000kms and then done 60,000miles!

thats why i want to be sure. i have been told it can actually be done... but i dont know how or where, does anyone know?

if i find out i will post it up also.

thanks again guys

I\'ve found the place I used:

http://www.autoprotec.co.uk/Import%20conversions.htm

The guy was called Paul, I can\'t remember how much it cost, but I think it was around £90, I had my speedo set from aprrox 80,000kms to approx 50,000 :)

Service was top notch!

thanks guys, newera is a bit too expensive in my opinion and the seccond is too far to travel for me and so the total cost will be too much, i will enquire about posting it though.

it seems so basic, wish i knew how to do it! but i cant afford it at the mo, have spent 1k this week on the rex.

thanks guys (please do let me know of any more places)
