Title: Looking to buy an rx7 (yes another thread...)
Post by: Cally on June 08, 2006, 11:51:35 PM
Ok, looking to buy and rx7. I have 6k to spend.. where do you advise I look and where should I avoid? (whos bringing in good cars just now and who has bad reps?)
I stay near glasgow and there isnt many forsale up here and any ones that are cost like 3k and have 50k miles with no rebuilds!!

So where should I go to get the best car for my money?

to be honest, I had a look at that car and I dont think its the right car for someone who wants to buy a decent car. Sounds like it needs work and might be a bit tatty? I dunno if you lot have seen it at shows and confirm otherwise?

All that car needs is a decent secondary rail and injectors, and then a re-map and it\'ll be good for serious power. Up in the 400\'s i should think. To get that sort of spec from a twin turbo (i.e. ditch the twin turbo setup and replace with single turbo costs a lot of cash!)

Is there any other cars? or places I should visit to get a decent car for my budget? I seen one being sold by daddycruise2 which looks in good condition but its in ireland which is a bit of a hassle.

I am not trying to be cheeky, but all I can afford is 6500 max. So if you\'ve still not sold it in a week or 2 and have a change of heart give me a shout.
