A few of us are using NGK EGV\'s with good results, you might like to try and the\'re cheap SEE HERE (http://www.spark-plugs.co.uk/pages/pricing/ngkpricea-bl.htm)

Or if you want to spend the extra TRY HERE (http://www.reworx.com/products_ignition_sparkplugs.htm)

For those interested in info on the EGV\'s SEE HERE (http://ausrotary.dntinternet.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=30048&highlight=spark+plugs)

You will need to use a thin wall plug socket or grind a std. one down to fit.

same \'ere.. only problem so far has been losing my thin wall socket :(
Took a set out on Saturday that had done about 2,500 miles, tiny bit of wear on the electrodes but otherwise looked fine.

Where have you guys purchased a thin wall socket from for the EGV\'s? I\'m about to give up. :(

I\'ve made two myself. You\'ll need a hex socket with no rounded bits on the corners

http://www.tooled-up.com/Product.asp?PID=114047&MAN=Elora-14mm-3-8-inch-Square-Drive-Deep-Spark-Plug-Socket

I stuck my socket in a cordless drill, stuck it on low speed and ground it down with an angle grinder until it was paper thin at the end :)

Cheat Freddy buy a normal socket and take the lower outer edge of on a bench grinder takes about 10mins to do it right. Don\'t worry about the socket walls being thin as the casting around the plug hole supports the socket so it won\'t split. Been running mine for three months including the dyno run took them out sat as a precaution before going down the strip but i\'d no need to change them to be honest. Car ran faultlessly both days on the strip so i for one won\'t be going back to Iridiums.

yup they\'ll be fine. I\'m using B10EGV in mine (single turbo running 0.9bar)

without the thin wall socket they\'ll be impossible to fit though :(

There\'s quite a few 10\'s and 11\'s in the RE:Worx cupboard, sure I saw them yesterday, maybe drop them a line and they should be able to post them to you today or tomorrow.

As Max saying give ReWorx a buzz although with your setup 10\'s and 11\'s would be better Babz  :Laugh

had it mapped with 9s and 10.5s, dont the warmer plugs make it easier to start these cars?

ever had problems starting yours with that setup?

No problems starting at all with 10\'s and 11\'s actually running better with the newer plugs.

Although in truth was also mapped with 10\'s and 11\'s so all is well  :cool
