The first one is the RE Amemiya AD9, the other one is Scoot. Scoot ones are around £800, not sure of the cost on the RE one.

Gary at Rotaryart does a copy of the scoot (I have one on mine).  Take a look in his catalogue.

I think a geniune Scoot bonnet will be alot more expensive.. And they dont come in carbon fibre.. They are FPR....  If I remember correctly you can think somewhere in the £2k area with shipping..  Plus paint

How about the hoodlock on copies?...

I know that some people with aftermarket copies have popped open during high speed runs.  Not saying thatt this is the case on any one brand.. Just that it has happened..  The RE-A AD9 is sooo nice looking btw!!!

I am thinking about geting the AD9 when finances allow. Only nagging doubt is if it will go onto a car with pretty much standard engine. Seem to remember hearing that some vented bonnets can only be fitted to cars with an FMIC or V mount as the standard IC is too high and bonnet won\'t sit flush. Can anyone confirm this or am I just getting to old and remembering things that didn\'t happen.

Cheers
Barry
