Afraid it is only spyshots of my puny little motor, but I had to take these to send to the insurance company, and know how much you guys can\'t resist pics of RX\'s!
It needs a serious clean which I will do before Rotorstock (maybe) and fingers crossed for the MOT thursday but apart from that it is ready to go!
Big thankyou to all the RE:Worx team who somehow squeezed me in this week among all the crazy power cars getting ready for RS, they tuned it perfectly to 260rwhp at only 0.6 bar, this is because it has only stock fuel and warm plugs so the T78 has a LOT more to be wrung out of it in the future.
I wanted a nice safe state of tune and that is exactly what I have got, still fun but it should last a while! Cheers!

I\'ll do a spec list eventually, but it isn\'t actually all that long, there are still a few things I would ideally like to upgrade on this car.

Cheers tony, if I keep her i\'m hoping to hit the magic 400 one day, not sure if the turbo will take it though...lol!
The smoke seems to be just shed loads of residue from when the turbo oil seals were gone and the guy still ran it for hundreds of miles. A few solid blasts should clear it all out of the system, and if not then I just have a slightly smokey car, it still runs perfectly so why should I worry!?

fddreamer, yes the car used to be owned by a guy in colchester so it would be the one you saw. It won\'t be in action at RS, just sitting around looking pretty i\'m afraid.

Jono, yeah the rad does sit quite high, it means the IC pipes are really high and the bonnet lifter doesnt sit down properly so it\'s not ideal. I\'m going to get some new IC pipes made up at some poiint, and may lower the rad slightly before i do.
Once I get an undertray I should be able to channel loads of air to the rad though because of the massive void in front of it, currently sits at 93 deg when cruising which could be significantly improved I think.

Ah i suspected as much! Although i never got a chance to see the car close up i was supposed to be looking at the car with a view to buying and repairing it, unfortunately the owner (not saying any names!!) never got back to me, perhaps because you\'d already whisked the beastie away and he didn\'t have the heart to tell me? :)
Anyway, it\'s good to see the car has found a good home, hope to see it close up at RS!

Adrian, it seems the guy I bought it from did the same thing to at least one other person on here too, I part ex-ed a car that he wanted for this rx, this was probably why he fobbed other people off except me, but he didn\'t seem to do it in a very polite way.
Don\'t look too close at RS, it\'s not exactly what I would call a \'mint\' car, looks better from a distance! lol!
I see...well what\'s done is done and so long as you\'re happy with the end result all\'s good! Just a shame people aren\'t more straight forward sometimes!
Well i\'m sure it\'s not that bad, always like the sound of what he had planned for the colour, but never had the chance to see it. I think it was a deep black with a blue pearl effect that he had in mind, if it came to pass i\'ll be having a good old gander!! Hope the sun\'s out! :)

still on the lookout for a swap for some 17\'s or a sale for a half decent price rixio, just been too busy to pursue it much in the last couple of weeks!
