K&N\'s cold air feed are very good, hks will just be using warm air from engine bay.

HKS is great. The front intake attaches directly to the turbo, and the rear one directly to the metal intake for the rear turbo. It\'s a very nice kit. Not too hard to install. Because of where it sits there\'s a lot of room for a V-Mount or whatever you want at the front of the engine.

You can buy a cold air feed pipe rather cheaply and feed from where you like, or buy a headlight cover with vent or similar. To be honest there was no performance drop going from a HKS Super Power Flow to a Racing Suction, the SPF is a lot nearer the front of the engine bay and uses the standard plastic piping.

There\'s a RS kit in the for sale section but not sure if it\'s gone yet.

I bought my car with the HKS kit. It looks great but does suck hot air. I have just moved the radiator and intercooler back and right to allow a cold air flow. Its not ducted properly yet but already my car feels much more responsive and inlet temperatures have dropped by 13 to 18°C.

In short, if you fit it be prepared to arrange a proper shielded cold air feed or you will actually lose power. And not just a piece of tube. The filters need a boxed off area from the rest of the bay to really work.

I have major concerns about the size of particulates they filter as well. The foam mesh is very coarse. I oil mine. I need to research this. Doea anyone know any more about these filters?? I have red and yellow type foam.

IMHO i\'d say the best kit is the Pettit, There realy good, i have one on my FD and they don\'t take much space up and come with a heat sheld that keeps the hot air away from them. I think the best bit is the Space!! i can fit a Big stock mount or a V-mount and not have to think about the size of the Filters I\'d recomend them anyway :)
