Title: Clifford alarm power draw
Post by: Tintin on May 19, 2006, 08:57:10 PM
I\'m putting in a new batt in the boot and I\'m trying to decide what size batt to use , with my old batt the alarm used to drain the battery over 2-3 weeks which was I could live with as its not that often apart from winter that the car sits for more than 2 weeks , I\'m trying to find out the current draw of the alarm so I can work out which batt I can use

Origionally I\'d gone for a red top 30 ( 26 amp hour ) , or maybe a red top 40 ( 38 amp hour ) but both these are quite pricey so if I can get away with a red top 25 ( 16 amp hour ) I will as its only £88 compared to £155 and £175

Any thoughts ?? had a look in the owners manual but no joy

Dont forget that after a little while the Clifford alarms go into a power saving monitoring mode.
