Hope the below helps:

"A shrub or bush is a horticultural rather than strictly botanical category of woody plant, distinguished from a tree by its multiple stems and lower height, usually less than 6 m tall. A large number of plants can be either shrubs or trees, depending on the growing conditions they experience. Small, low shrubs such as lavender, periwinkle and thyme are often termed subshrubs.

A natural plant community dominated by shrubs is called a shrubland. The word bush can also refer to a type of plant community, as in the Australian bush. This is often characterised by scrubby, open woodland and is a generic term for Eucalyptus dominated woodland in particular.

An area of cultivated shrubs in a park or garden is known as a shrubbery. When clipped as topiary, shrubs generally have dense foliage and many small leafy branches growing close together. Many shrubs respond well to renewal pruning, in which hard cutting back to a \'stool\' results in long new stems known as "canes". Other shrubs respond better to selective pruning to reveal their structure and character.

Shrubs in common garden practice are generally broad-leaved plants, though some smaller conifers such as Mountain Pine and Common Juniper are also shrubby in structure. Shrubs can be either deciduous or evergreen.
"

Not too sure what you\'d feed them tho.  Baby bio??

Well that\'s what I thought to be honest!

Just compate to the price for the RX-8.  All these companies have to do is make the product and then say take 10% off the OE parts and sell!  :3Confused

Chris at Superflex will give you discount if you buy a large amount. Was something like 10% I think.

Superflex aren\'t affiliated with Powerflex from what i remember.

When I spoke to Reworx they recommended against polyurethane bushes though.

Personally I\'d now go with stock, but will set you back a lot more than poly bushes, therefore replace them in pairs/fours at a time rather than the lot. Some will see little wear.

Cheers, Jode
(nothing to do with any company)

Additionally the last time I spoke to Chris a couple of months back they didn\'t have all of the front bushes available, which seems to still reflect in that price list above. Additionally-Additionally you can use polyurethane for the swaybar mounts with no problem, and are easy to change, as are the upper wishbone pairs for front and rears and the dog chews - although would use stock for all those. The rest are more painful unless you can get the bottom of the car higher than a nats testicle AND still get the wheel\'s off.

Edit : Just thought i\'d also mention superflex were interested in making an announcement on these boards since their FD bushes are fairly new, Clive didnt reply to my email about it but was probably bit busy, if someone could bring them onboard as a vendor MRC will get some advertising cost, and maybe group discount too for members..

I dont understand why people would say dont use them - use the Mazda ones?  I had a look at the Mazda ones which I was led to believe where just solid metal but are metal & rubber? With shot bushes then surely these are better than shagged ones?

Why are the Mazda ones so much better than the others? (asking cause I probably need some more!   :rollin )
