Was there an actual European version of the FD then?

I just found it strange that the ones in Hungary had apparently been imported from the US.

Yeah, I know there was a UK FD as I used to drive around in one in 1997 ;)  I was just wondering if there were actual LHD EU models, which there obviously were.  I just wondered why the guys in Hungary had apparently imported their LHD ones from the US rather than just, say, nipping over the border into Austria or Germany and finding an LHD EU one!

What are the differences on the LHD EU ones? Do they have rear seats or bins?

They are only 140 cars left in Germany (nobody knows where). They are only 3 FDs in Austria ! It\'s very hard to find FD ion any condition in Germany. The prices are very high for 12 years old car.  They are more Ferraris here than RX-7s.  So people are goint to US and import cars from there. Its like in UK. You import your cars from Japan, couse they are RHD, and people from the rest of EU are going for US FDs.

The original German FD has had plastic bins, and was equal to UK FD.  (sunroof, leather, airbag on drivers side, etc....)
