Forgot to mention. I saw norski\'s car at wgt on saturday. All I can say is "oh my God". The work that has been done to it is absolutely outstanding. This is definately a very big job. Just for quick reference the engine is a good 3in lower than in the stock position and is way back in the engine bay, all without the firewall being altered. Guy with a RX8 being tuned just looked and didn\'t really understand what was under the bonnet. Sounds awesome, quiet in a cosmo way. Very muscular sound, sweet as a nut !

Huge monster turbo that looks the business and everything looking perfect.

All i can say is awesome isn\'t strong enough for the amount of work pip has put into it !

Very, Very impressive

Sorry for the Delay Normski, I took these pics while the engine was still being built, The turbo is Monsterous!, talking to pip about it he\'s not anticipating massive lag from it either!

huge turbo on a big engine = no lag

TBH I\'m not entirely sure either, obviously a ball bearing an ceramic bladed unit will help faster spool up, but pip mentioned something about the torque the tripple puts out?

As I said this isn\'t something I know a lot about so I\'m not saying it\'s fact, just what I picked up in the conversation. It might have been not much lag for a turbo of this size or on this engine?

It\'s a 20b so flows a third more exhaust gasses. I\'m running a garret GT42 on mine on boost at 3000rpm and no lag. If anything its a bit on the small size

I was reading a write up (kind of Bigging Garrett up), they where saying that with modern Turbo\'s the high end spec cars 600-700hp are made to tailor the responce so the power surge does\'nt brake the drive train, they point out with the Modern Wheels and Cores it would be possable to out perform a Supercharged car of the same engine size and HP.

I think when you get an Engine that has the VE of a Rotary you can always spool the larger side of the Turbo world. :)
