Title: Fitting Short Shifter
Post by: AshRX on May 17, 2006, 01:38:26 PM
Just received my short shifter from Clive  :cheers

Can someone please explain the easiet way to fit them. I took the arm panel and gear knob off and all that was under there was insulation foam and a large black platic cover.

I have heard these are easily fitted but having probs working out what goes where.

If someone could explain point by point that would be great.

Cheers

Undo the 4 10mm socket sized nuts and you will lift the tunnel cover off and then you will see 4 12mm socket sized bolts to remove and the whole gear shift turret will pull off the top of the gear box.

You will then need to pull off the nylon cup from the base of the origonal gearleaver and fit this to the new B&M shifter.
