But just a quick note to let everyone know that "THB Egger Lawson - Competition Car Insurance" are back in the market for us RX boys and girls. The reason they stopped doing RX\'s at one point last year was down to the insurers not wanting to upset another one of their brokers who were the "Recommended Insurers" for Jap imports.
They came up tops for me after ringing pretty much everyone I could find last year. They\'re mod friendly and take into account a lot of details other insurers don\'t bother with such as club memberships, car shows attended, magazines read, previous driving experience etc...
They mainly do over 25\'s but at a push may be able to get some 24yr olds with the right experience insured so always worth a try.
The insurance usually covers you for quite a few track days for the year as well. Bonus :)
They\'ll definitly be my first point of call when I\'m up for renewal next month.

I know he sorted quite a few people out last year on my reccommendation.

I\'ll give him a try tomorrow, as I have tried Footman James and AON today. Footman are winning at the moment, but I also have to consider my daily driver which is also up for renewal.

Well I ended up going with Steve, although not the cheapest, the offer of free trackday cover as part of it, made it worth while.
Now all I have to do is write down all the mods. :D

They seem really good and I believe you can get your car insured up to a given BHP. Did you get an agreed valuation on yours?

I said that I used them before and that someone in the club recommended them, and he pulled your name out of the hat.
Yeap, got the agreed valuation. It also helped that I had previous experience of silly modified cars. They are cautious of what appears to be newbies in these cars.
