Title: Registration help needed
Post by: JimboRX-7 on October 25, 2003, 12:11:14 PM
I\'m filling in a V55/5 to register my RX-7 (more than ten years old), but there are a few bits I\'m not sure about filling in:

1.  Cylinder capacity - is this 1308cc, or the \'theoretical equivalent\'?

2.  Where\'s the engine # on the car?

3. Do I need to fill in:
Type approval #
Variant
Version
Dimensions
Emissions stuff etc
or is that all covered by the De-reg?

Any assistance greatly appreciated!

Cheers,
James

ye its a 1308 but i think you need to back this up with your de-reg documents from japan, otherwise its a 2600 and expencive tax:(

the engine number is under th altenator and supposidely(i dont have an fd) a b***h to get at so i think its easiest to remove it. can some one else confirm this plz

They help you fill most of it in at the DVLA office.
