I had a lot of water getting in my boot, this was apart from what drips in when you open the boot in the rain! it took me a long time to find it where it was getting in, my car was resprayed before i bought it, and the guy must have torn the mounting bolts out of the spoiler when he took it off, then he left the bolt holes open (no bolts!) and fitted the spoiler on with the outer screws only,
might not be the same problem but that\'s what caused my wet boot,
good luck, Bob

I have this too, I\'ve removed my rear seats for now so I can mop it all up when I find a puddle :D

I\'m thinking about drilling a couple of drainage holes in the floor :eek

I can only imagine on my car which has no spoiler or holes that it is leaking from the rear hatch somewhere, but the seal looks fine, I can\'t figure it out at all :(

That said it\'s only an annoyance and 10 year old cars are going to have quirks :chat

Ok, two things to look at

First does it have a sun roof? becouse the Drains often pull out of the floor and fill the rear seat wells with water.

second applys more to T2\'s but can apply to Fd\'s too, the rear hatch apiture (spelling??) drain pipes often get clogged with bits of leafs etc so the water seeps under the seal.

could be the drain pipes as i do clean them often they do clogg up quick,
was\'nt too happy on sat wen i went to work on the car,
i left sum tools and installation tape on the back seats, wen i returnd to find that everyting was soked in water had to go on the hunt to find tape :(

i though abt drillin afew hole\'s aswell, as i am doin my system i am gonna lay dynamat (spell!!) will there b any point as the water will just build up on the mat...? :2Rolleyes

tink i\'ll just have to drill afew holes if we cant find another way around it :Thumbsup!

get inside the car and have someone outside with a hose pipe.
you should be able to see were the waters getting in.
mine was leaking in near the hatch hinges. dripping of the edge of the roof lining and setting my alarm off constanatly for the first two days of ownership!

I had the exact same problem, always a puddle under the passenger seat, i tried everyhting to stop it, i just could not find out where the hell the water was coming from, that was until i fitted my stereo and pulled the door panel off.
The sheet of plastic that covers the hole in the door had come off at the bottom (its stuck on with this orrible black gunk) anyway, when it rained the water was running down inside the door but instead of going out the drain holes at the bottom, some was running down onto the plastic sheet and out the bottom of the door and soaking into the carpet.

Glued it back on with silicon and never had a wet floor since.
