gonna have to get you to make one up for the bug!

Im planning on comin down and staying with a mate in henley around june/july time, fitting the carb and taking it to carl to get it tuned.
Whilst im down there maybe we can sort a decent exhaust for her?

You just don\'t want to know Mike. He did a fab job worthy of one of mine, grabbed every bit of old exhaust he\'d got in the garage. Welded it all together and thats what he ended up with.
Think its great the way the rotary scene is going at the moment in this country more and more people willing to experiment and do things there self.

hehehe I\'m glad to hear that.
We\'ve got one just like it! :Giggle cost us an hour of raiding scrap bins (asking first) and two days of welding ... I have some piccies somewhere.

The exhaust on the 323 will be made exactly the same way :)

Actually i was spoilt for choice with all the bits I had....from 2 1/4" to 3" piping,5 mufflers etc......had to rebuild the manifold and collector, then decide on the 1st muffler, then the 2nd and finally the rear.Bit of an experiment, all new to me as I have never had to worry about the noise factor.!!!!!!!!So in keeping it quiet yet efective it has been a challenge. :guinness In saying that, for the strip I dont have to be that quiet... :evillaugh

is it mild steel then? Or are you a bit handy with TIG?

Excellent, you will have to get some photos of your FC sorted so we can all see it.

I\'ll make sure we get some photos of the exhaust on the 323 once its underway.

Hi bob, sorry for but-in!
Got a spare repackable backbox made of s/steel,it\'s huge 8\'\' O/D x 24\'\' length with 3\'\'taper collector to 2\'\' duel pipes( which has been cut off ) and 3\'\' tail.
It\'s large and able to fitting into moggy \'s back boot or in the  passage\'s side to keep you warm in winter.

Hey Ian, would it be possible to see a photo of it. oh yeah, and of course a price would be great! It might just fit in the back behind the diff. The 8 inch diameter isnt too bad, just length i guess.
 cheers, michael.
