OK final question for my insurance forms... this is getting annoying. It\'s asking for an engine number as well as the chassis number too?
Had a look round earlier and couldn\'t find it by looking, wasn\'t on the plate either...
a) is there one anywhere
b) if so where is it :)

I had that problem for the insurance docs. I left it blank after much searching with a torch.

When I went to the DVLA to register mine I just wrote down 13B :rollin
It wasnt untill later I realised this wasnt what they wanted. I have since found out where it is (cant remember) but I remember people saying its a nightmare to get to.

The engine number is under the alternator. Pig of a job to get at, so the best thing is to remove it.

Hi Andy have you looked on your vehicle registration log book ( V5 ) as it should be listed there underneath the chassis number.
