Title: 12aT turbo part number or VIN ??
Post by: multirotor on October 24, 2003, 08:40:42 AM
Does anyone have a parts catalog for the 82-85 JSPEC 12a turbo engine ?
I want to know the part numbers for rotors, exc. shaft & counter weights (rotating assembly).

If anyone has a VIN for a 12aT Rx-7 or Cosmo (HB ?) this would help too.
If I have a VIN, I can find out the part numbers at Mazda.

Thanks !

I think you will find that all your main engine parts will be the same as a normal 12A and this should mean you can use any Gen 1 chassis number.
( if Carl does not answer this l will find out for you another way).

If nobody comes forward I will source you a number tonight from one of our members.

p.s. real pleased you may visit us next year.

Thanks for the help !

I know for sure that the 12a Turbo engine does not use the same rotors as a European 12a. It has lower compression rotors to allow the boost pressure.

If you ring Tim at //www.rxmotors.co.uk  he should be able to help you at least with info as he has a couple of Turbo 12A\'s ( he Drag Races one of them)

Hope this helps.
