hi can anyone give me advice
i am not hitting boost on second turbo in first or second gear
if i let off then accellerate it boosts again
needs this fixed for RS111
Check your vacuum hoses first
i replaced most of them already :(
if its not the hoses then likely to be a solenoid..god knows why mazda didnt put a single turbo on in the forst place is beyond me..i have looked at diagram of rats nest and it assoc solenoids and it is just waiting to go wrong
Are you still running a CAT, sometimes if these gets blocked, it can cause your symptoms. Just another idea
no io have a decat
i thought it may be the actuator sticking or something like that ? :xconfused
bump
help meeeee please :god
have you checked your solenoids?.the wastgate is on the right when standing facing the car.ive gone non sequential but wasnt getting full boost, when i checked mine it was duff.so that was my original problem.(boost dropping on 2nd tubby).
no i dont know where they are or what they look like
how can you test them?
or do you just has to replace them and then try it?
thanks for your help
i need to get this sorted asap dont want to be the slowest at rotorstock
Yeah I had boost problems with mine, one minute you would accelerate hard, then let off and boost again and it would only go 0.4.
Checked all the rats nest hoses, solenoids using a mityvac and Dave disneys site instructions (posted in a previous thread) and tested the check valves using the mityvac.
Found a load of loose pipes and 1 badly kinked one.
Upon testing the solenoids I found 2 were knackered and would hold pressure for about 3-7 seconds before dumping it. The proper ones should dump instantly.
Also found 2 x 1 way check valves were not 1 way and leaked !!
Put the car back together after that very slowly and it works fine now.
My advice would be to check the individual solenoids if you can but its a full time job, took me 3 weeks to do the complete rats nest inc solenoids. You have to buy a Mityvac to test them properly, they all passed the mazda test which is to test to see if they click.
No offence mate but if you changed all the rats nest hoses then you would know where the solenoids are lol
