Title: Brake servo
Post by: Andyp on October 22, 2003, 10:16:08 PM
Hello all! :wave

Got back from holiday to find I have to fill in a large questionaire about me mods / car for my insurance cover. One of the questions is a little confusing (only coz I don\'t know the answer)

Under the brakes section it\'s asking me "Is a brake servo unit fitted?"

I\'m guessing it has! Am I right? *oh please, please please! ;)*

Got a 93fd type R if that makes any diff :)

sorry to be so lame

ta!

Dude, isn\'t the brake server the bit that power assists your brakes, unless your FD has turned into a go kart or lotus elise I\'d say that it has one

Hmm well I thought that was the case but didn\'t see the point in them asking it, might as well ask if I had 4 wheels too :(

Just confused me and I had jet lag n stuff :(

*unscrews Friths skateboard wheels*

cheers!

I hope that skateboard comment isn\'t a dig at the small matter of the tempory misplacement of my driving licence, cos I am back baby!!!   (once again like the renegade master....etc) :)

although Rexy isn\'t happy at the moment, and the stereo has stopped working yesterday

joy of joys, ordered new clutch today :)

i couldn\'t do with out dvd in the car!! :)
(actually I nevewr use it, bloody impulse buy!!)

with the power levels I am running it was only a matter of time before Mr Stock Clutch packed up and pissed off! is just slipping now

getting a Exedy Cerametalic (single Plate?)Clutch Geoff thinks that will be fine for what I am running with no slip, and its only £360 so works for me!
