Title: Who would you recommend to fit HKS parts?
Post by: Steve Burnett on October 22, 2003, 09:58:02 AM
Hope someone can help.

Who would you guy\'s recommend for fitting aftermarket parts to the RX7. The reason I ask is that I am looking for advice fitting a HKS DB mechanical water temp gauge. Unfortunately the thermocouple supplied is not long enough! This is obviously a big problem and I need the help to find out how to get it fitted from somewhere that deals with HKS products.
I am currently trying Nemesis and am also going to try HKS UK direct but I really want to get help from other people as this is something that is taking a long time. Im hoping I find someone who has fitted one to a RX7 in the past.

Thanks for any help
Steve

My understanding of thermocouples is you need be very careful with the connections and length of the wires as introducing/changing them alters resistance and the units  sensitive to this.

Steve, might be worth speaking with Graham Goode. They are also a bit further up north. ;)

They are also HKS suppliers.
