Title: D1 style FD3 for sale on pistonheads?
Post by: d6277n on May 01, 2006, 09:26:44 PM
Just browsing and came across the following (nothing to do with me btw):

clicky (http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/72343.htm)

It\'s a bit low, a bit wide and there\'s not a great deal of detail. Claiming 600+bhp from a T51R jobbie and it aint priced to sell. Not really to my taste, but was wondering if anyone knew any more about it?

Cheers,

Chris.

A few days ago a mate told me about a wide body RX7 in my area, so on Friday night I told him to show me the car... Guess what.. its the same car on the pistonheads website... I only saw it from the rear but it did look quite mean and the dish on the alloys are enormous !!! Looked like a proper drift car, but £25,000... no way..

Quite an often thing to have kits removed.. i had all mien rmeoved before they were sent.. i didnt fancy my mint new drift bumper ripping off  :Giggle

But seems odd to remove the fenders..much have been attached to the side skirts??

hi gord,  yeah i know it is fairly common to have bodykits etc removed but it did seem rather strange as the fenders on an rx dont normally cause a prob due to there shape!

im sure i remember the advert from japan sayin it needed some bodywork, like alot of the bn sports stuff that was up for sale. not too sure though!

When I saw it on Friday it looked in exactly the same condition as the picture from the docks... I also wondered why the front fenders, side skirts and front bumper were missing ...  :xconfused
