Done it when i thought i had problems. Did it the full way tho with welding the gates open and stuff. Am happy with how it turned out but nothing will give you the same grin factor as wen you tap the throttle and the car immediatly spins in a circle,

Did mine the "poor mans" way a few weeks back. Very simple to do, 1 hours work max (with a fair bit of research before).

The jury\'s still out with me, I\'m getting it remapped on Thursday for the non-seq. I\'ll let you know my final concusions then. At the moment I think it\'s *ok*, I\'m hoping a remap might swing me one way or the other.

BTW, I had a perfectly funntioning sequential setup before I started playing. To be honest I just got bored and fancied a change!

i done the mod yesterday,i got off to a bad start snapped 4 pipes geting the manifold off ,also a non return valve.luckly i had 2 meters of samco and some spare valves. ive ringed the snaped pipes and valve,

took me nearly 4 hours, but im over the moon with the results  :mmmm
im now getting 12 psi from about 3.5k all the way to the redline..anybody else with 2nd turbo problems,i would reckomend trying this mod out.

looks good mate, a little word of advice though, when you are working with the plenum off and the manifold pipes facing up the way exposed its better to stuff a rag in them, you really dont want and nuts bolts etc falling down them.

just a quick question, when using the non sequential setup do you still use the pre-control or disable it and leave it closed?

I\'m currently in the process of this mod , if you are doing the full conversion then there seems to be 3 schools of thought

1 weld it 90% open
2 weld it shut
3 remove it completely

I\'m trying to find out what is the prefered method from those on the forum that have already done this

hi i need a bit of help

i have just done the cheap version of this but I am hitting full boost at 4500k

is this because i have had my car tuned for twins?

or is this because i have done something wrong

thanks  james

From what I\'v been told , you will spool slower due to the fact that one turbo spools faster than 2 so this is why your spool time is slower

People seem to have varying results regarding spool time , think this is down to whetherits a full or poor mans conversion , full cleans up the inlet and exhaust paths more so the gases flow better , other things that can help are open intakes and exhausts , intercooler etc

Hope that helps

does it build up or just come in at 12psi straight away?
and do you get full boost all the way to the redline?

it does build up and after driving i really like it

much more race friendly lol

i think once i sort my exhaust and downpipe outetc it will be a very good setup

i really like the non-sequential setup!
