Post by: FD3SNuttah on April 27, 2006, 05:21:18 PM
im off to york drag way this monday, dont laugh but im a bit of a noob to all this drag racing...

anyway im a little concerned that i might hit the Jap speed limiter on my run! am i even going to be able to reach 112 mph? how do i remove this limiter anyway without having to spend 700 quid on a power fc!

Any tips on preparing my car for the strip? what time do you lot reckon i will get with a near enough stocko engine in my FD?

any help is of course appreciated!  :cheers

Its hard to say, a stock fc should be just around the 100mph mark on the quarter mile. Is the car in mph or kph ?? The limiter should have moved up to 180 mph if you have converted the speedo to mph with one of the electronic gizmos.

oops, the stock fd is not much faster, about 105ish. Just do a search for fastest stock twins thread.
