I\'m considering buying the Half Bridge Gotham Racing motor that\'s knocking about on here for when mine goes pop one day.
I want to know if the half bridge will be a nightmare to use as a daily driver or is it possible to tune these motors to behave sensibly at cruise, and with a steady idle ?
I\'m aware my fuel economy will suffer, but I want to retain driveability.
Anyone got any experience / comments ??
Mine isn\'t too bad, used it daily for over a year, the thirst is the killer. They will always have a lumpy idle and they aren\'t too keen on cruising at lower revs, but with a good map you can reduce that problem.
It\'s the bad manners at cruise that is worrying me...
I think given my usage of the car that I\'d need to get a daily sh1tter to do the commute in and out of brum, I cant see me living with the bridge in traffic every day :(
But come the weekend :burnout :rollin
Depends how big the Bridge and how good your Map is.
But your always going to get the low speed Bucking and poor MPG just don\'t do my trick and put a Twin plate clutch on as well (Makes you look like a noob at lights). :)
I live for brap brap everyday........... :evillaugh

I allready have one of those "I\'m a learner driver" clutches, along with the "I\'m a granny pulling out at T junctions" 1.5way LSD :rollin
I figured I might as well go the whole hog and make the car a complete pig :chat
Why not buy my nice new RX8 engine, it will fit straight on to your 7 box ;-)
